The purpose of this entry is to guide players on the possible adjustments available for the data displayed in the UI during combat.
There are many customizable options available in the game's UI. Let's go through a few examples:
You can hide the Minimap by clicking on the small arrow next to it.
You can toggle off the current attack mode details so they only appear when you hover the mouse over the attack mode. (Settings & Preferences > Interface > Always display current attack mode details.)
There are several ways to customize the 'Tactical View markers'. You can switch between two states with a hotkey. You can set this hotkey in Settings & Preferences > Hotkeys > Toggle markers. All markers are on by default, so simply toggle off those you don't need. Once configured, you can switch between a “minimalistic” and fully detailed display of UI elements by using the 'Toggle markers' hotkey. This allows you to avoid clutter on the screen while still having quick access to details when needed.
Ducky approved, happy hunting! ;)
Tip #1: We’ve also added a tactical map legend feature to the game; it can be toggled using the new information “(i)” button next to the minimap.
Tip #2: If you'd like to see all the details of your marines in one window, toggle the 'Squad Overview' (Settings/Hotkeys/Toggle Squad Overview Panel).
